How can you soar with Eagles, when you run with buzzards.

Along time ago this thought came to me, the text to this blog that is. How can you soar with eagles when you run with buzzards? Well it's sorta like going into the word of God and reading about the wheat and tares. Eagles are a large bird of prey, with broad wings and strong flight. A eagle's wings can span 8 feet, and weigh up to 15 pounds. An eagle is one of the most beautiful fowls God ever created. Have you ever seen one in flight? It's effortless ascension and it's elegant landing. So, so pretty. But how can you soar with eagles when you choose to run with buzzards? Isn't that considered a double standard, or like straddling a fence? One foot on and the other off. Well a buzzard is also a bird of prey, it and the red tail hawk are next to kin even though a hawk will eat live prey, a buzzard waits til it's prey is dead and stinks. I have been told that a buzzard stinks themselves. I really don't know never have been that close to one, (yuck nasty).

But we're not here to explain everything there is to know about eagles and buzzards, everyone I hope has seen one in their lifetime. Does anyone know what the bible says about those who wait upon the Lord shall do. Isaiah 40:31 says That they who wait upon the lord shall renew their strenghth; they shall mount up on wings as eagles; they shall run, and not grow weary, and they shall walk, and not faint. God plainly states up a couple of verses 27-30. 27 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God? 28Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall.
GOD is GOD and he always will be God,

Friends I 'm here to say Jesus said these following words. Matthew 11:28-30, [28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Time after time in many passages of the word of God, he assures us that he will always be there for us, for when we're down and out, tired weary and thinking we can't go any further, He never fails for He is God and will be there for us even in times we feel we are not worthy. How can you soar with Eagles, when you run with buzzards?

You see it's not God who puts us in the predicaments we get ourselves into, but we are surely quick to ask Him to get us out of them. God said they who do what? (wait) on who? The Lord shall renew their strenghth, He will renew your mind body and soul. We are no good to God broken down tired and weary and He knows it, run with buzzards you will be classified as a buzzard, it's simple as that.

Galatians 6:6-9 [6] Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. It's like trash in trash out. Friends, God is not and will not be mocked about anything. God is all knowing, all seeing, all hearing, and powerful, There is nothing done that he doesn't see or know. He knows our sin, and let's not forget, sin is sin and there is no little sin or big sin. Let us not forget also that, He knew us before we was ever conceived, or born, even before the womb. He knew me and that I would be named Jesse, plain and simple. Do you still want to run with buzzards, when you can soar with eagles? That's up to you.

If we were to look at just the last 6 commandments these are the laws or rules we are to live by.
Exodus 20:12-17
12 Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
14 Thou shalt not steal.
15 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's

If we break the least of these we are guilt of breaking them all. Remember no big or little sin. He sees us when we kill, and steal, commit adultery, lie against our neighbors and covet or wish we had what our neighbor, friend or brother has. So how are we to soar with eagles when we continue to run with buzzards? Oh but this ain't all. What about Galatians 5:18-21 [18] But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

It says we war against our flesh, not give into such things such as adultery, sex among married, fornication, sex among the single and unmarried. Immoral sexual thoughts or action and such. emulations means to not make an effort to equal, excel or surpass another or compete as a rival. Those who choose to do anything against the word or will of GOD seems to want to live their lives the way they want. You can't soar with the eagles. There are 7 last things we need to know about running with the buzzards. Proverbs 6:16-19, [16] These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Friends if we have any of these thing in our lives we need to rid ourselves of them. We will never be right with GOD lest we lose these 7 deadly sins from our lives. You can in no wise soar with eagles, but run with buzzards, cause GOD will pluck your feathers. I don't know if anyone who reads this will understand what is being said. We can not serve God and the devil at the same time. The Bible says either you will love the one and hate the other or vise versa. If you want to soar with eagles you must change your ways and actions. Come on down off the fence before you really hurt yourself and serve GOD then you can soar as an eagle all you want to.
You'll be glad you did.

You know there comes a time in everyone's life, whether it young or old that we have to make decisions as adults. Most want to be a child of GOD but don't want to give up the sin. We showed you a few scriptures and you can read them for yourselves. There are ways to act and not to act, things you can do and not do. Just remember a few things, you can not straddle the fence and be a child of GOD, one must jump down off that fence as I said earlier and jump into the sheep fold, because you cant soar with eagles if you continue to run with buzzards.

thank you so much for your time

If God be for us

As I have read blogs from two of the 4 followers that I have in bloggers, the words of their writings set off a spark. I do, but don't like to write or talk about God or Jesus Christ in my blogs, because if anyone has read any of my blogs, at times I use foul language, which I am not proud of, just certain things just set me off. And it just seems to make me feel like a hypocrite, maybe just a feeling, but maybe the truth. But I'm gonna hopefully write this anyways. For if God be for us.

ROMANS 8:31 says just that. "What shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" The great Philosopher, Forrest Gump once said, "Life is like a box of chocolates you never know what your gonna get inside". Well friends, life is just that way also, so many times in life people make the mistake of making plans for the next hour, the night, and tomorrow, and don't think or know what could happen the next moment. Life is sorta like living racing against an hour glass once it's ran it's course, it's through. In this fast paced world with so much to do there is little time to do it. What touched me about these ladies blog was, they said that as long as they have God they can make it. Again we say, If GOD be for us.

Well sometimes we can sit back and read people's writing and I don't mean just blogs, but books of well known authors, fiction, romance, sci-fi and such, then turn to Christian writers. Some people are just talented at writing, and that goes for Christian writers also, or lets say so called christian writers. And I am not ignorant to the fact that some would call me judging these folks by saying or calling these folks (so called).

Matthew 7:15-23 says this, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity".

Friends just because you can write about things of the Bible doesn't necessarily make you an author or a Christian. A lot of people don't know that back in or around 1986 a survey was done about Christian beliefs or what they believe in (Pastors and preachers alike) . It was amazing to me the question and the answers that were given, we'll get to that shortly. The word of GOD say's there are 2 spirits. 1st John 4:1 says this. "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of GOD: because many false prophets are gone out into the world". When I was preaching, which I did for 22 years, I encouraged the sheep (or congregation) not to believe my words but write the scriptures down and let the Spirit of God show them, because I had and still do have a fear of misleading people and broadening my chance of going to Hell because I mislead the children of God.

Now for the survey:
Do you believe there is a living GOD? = Answer 20 % said yes
Do you believe there is a heaven and hell? = Answer 15 % said there was.
Do you believe in the spirit of God? = Only 20 % said yes
And the last question was this and it was sad to read and hear about.
Why do you preach? = 87 % said for the money and fame that comes with it.
This was out of 100 preachers and pastors.

Friends, you know how to tell a real preacher/pastor? Let me say this, you'll know who's real and not real. A true minister or preacher is humble in spirit, and trust worthy, given totally to the people, his flock that God has entrusted him to lead. A man of GOD is one who knows his sheep as Jesus does. A true preacher or minister is aware of the wolves even though he can show no difference because God said that day will come at judgment, but is not beyond rebuke or reproach. He is given in prayer, not only for his sheep, but those in the world, and has a tendency to pray for other than himself, which is not good, he must also pray for himself to stay humble and in the will of God. A true Preacher or minister is apt to tell you the truth and nothing but the truth as the Spirit of God has directed him to. Whether you wanna call it the Spirit of God or the Holy Ghost, same self spirit. If GOD is for us.

I can at times say some pretty harsh thing and I am aware of what the Word says, if any should offend. Luke 17:2-3 >>>2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. 3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

If I at anytime should offend you in the or through the word of God, as the word says REBUKE me. I am no way perfect or without fault, but by the Grace of GOD I will tell you the truth as God has showed me, then on that day you won't be unaware and lost forever. If GOD be for us.

The two ladies I am referring to and I hope they don't take offense, for they are followers of mine in bloggers as well as I am theirs now,. When one says they know God will be there for them, and they say it with conviction, we pray that they will be with God in His kingdom to come as well as everyone else who are true children of God. The Bible says you'll know them by their works. If GOD be for us.

FRIENDS, we are living so close to the second coming of Christ, one can almost feel it and with every passing day, every prophecy that is fulfilled we come one more second, one more minute, one hour, one more day closer. The days for the christian, even the children of God, will be bad if you take not the mark of the beast. FRIENDS, tough times. Read the Word, pray the Spirit of God will let you know and understand the days to come.

Well enough is enough, I've said to much I think, but hope those who read shall understand the Word of GOD. As Roman 8:31 says again, "If GOD be for us, who can be against us?" Friends there ain't a mountain high enough, a power from hell strong enough to prevail against you or any child of God. Let us also remember one more scripture, Matthew 19:26, Jesus looked at them and said, with men this is impossible, but with God everything is possible. Amen.
