Along time ago this thought came to me, the text to this blog that is. How can you soar with eagles when you run with buzzards? Well it's sorta like going into the word of God and reading about the wheat and tares. Eagles are a large bird of prey, with broad wings and strong flight. A eagle's wings can span 8 feet, and weigh up to 15 pounds. An eagle is one of the most beautiful fowls God ever created. Have you ever seen one in flight? It's effortless ascension and it's elegant landing. So, so pretty. But how can you soar with eagles when you choose to run with buzzards? Isn't that considered a double standard, or like straddling a fence? One foot on and the other off. Well a buzzard is also a bird of prey, it and the red tail hawk are next to kin even though a hawk will eat live prey, a buzzard waits til it's prey is dead and stinks. I have been told that a buzzard stinks themselves. I really don't know never have been that close to one, (yuck nasty).
But we're not here to explain everything there is to know about eagles and buzzards, everyone I hope has seen one in their lifetime. Does anyone know what the bible says about those who wait upon the Lord shall do. Isaiah 40:31 says That they who wait upon the lord shall renew their strenghth; they shall mount up on wings as eagles; they shall run, and not grow weary, and they shall walk, and not faint. God plainly states up a couple of verses 27-30. 27 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God? 28Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall. GOD is GOD and he always will be God,
Friends I 'm here to say Jesus said these following words. Matthew 11:28-30, [28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Time after time in many passages of the word of God, he assures us that he will always be there for us, for when we're down and out, tired weary and thinking we can't go any further, He never fails for He is God and will be there for us even in times we feel we are not worthy. How can you soar with Eagles, when you run with buzzards? You see it's not God who puts us in the predicaments we get ourselves into, but we are surely quick to ask Him to get us out of them. God said they who do what? (wait) on who? The Lord shall renew their strenghth, He will renew your mind body and soul. We are no good to God broken down tired and weary and He knows it, run with buzzards you will be classified as a buzzard, it's simple as that.
Galatians 6:6-9 [6] Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. It's like trash in trash out. Friends, God is not and will not be mocked about anything. God is all knowing, all seeing, all hearing, and powerful, There is nothing done that he doesn't see or know. He knows our sin, and let's not forget, sin is sin and there is no little sin or big sin. Let us not forget also that, He knew us before we was ever conceived, or born, even before the womb. He knew me and that I would be named Jesse, plain and simple. Do you still want to run with buzzards, when you can soar with eagles? That's up to you.Exodus 20:12-17
13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
14 Thou shalt not steal.
15 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's
17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
thank you so much for your time
